FIVE key elements your website MUST have.
1 // An offer above the fold
State exactly what you do - Be clear! Ensure it's obvious. What problem do you/your products solve for your customers? Remember - focus on your customer, not you/your company.
2 // Obvious calls to action
The purpose of your website is to generate business! Make it obvious what you want your customer to do. If you sell a product, make it easy for your customer to Buy/Shop. If your website's aim is to generate new customer contacts, make it easy for customers to contact you.
3 // Images of success
Show that you have happy and satisfied customers. This shows satisfaction with your brand and visualises your brand's capability to solve the problem(s) you/your products specialise in.
4 // Communicate your products/services clearly
If you offer a number of products/solutions, make it easy for your customers to identify which product/solution is perfect for them. Don't clutter your home page, provide clear navigation to a specific page for the particular product/service.
5 // Very few words
People don't read websites anymore, they scan! Keep it brief and to the point.
